"Trapped by agony"

   This sketch is my participation to an art contest. I had to choose and sketch a scene from the first two chapters of Peter Koevari's "Legends of Marithia Book 1: Prophecies Awakening". This is Kassina locked in a cage, watching her parents being murdered in the hands of King Gruebert's soldiers. 

I won that contest :-)

   There is a little something i would like to say about this scene. After watching her parents dying, without having done something wrong other than loving each other, Kassina turned to the dark side. That made me think of all the children who have been through awful situation in a young age and they turn to be bad adults, cruel, abusive, brutal adults. This scene made me think that no child is born to be evil. Whether a child will turn bad or not, is totally based on the behaviour of the adults around it.  Every adult is responsible for what children turn to become, when they get older. We are their examples and we must never forget that!
