Halloween 2018 Project 1: The candle holder

I really loved the idea of making

a candle holder with a Halloween theme.

This was the first thing i made.

The bats and the skulls 

are made with molds. 

The rest, I shaped with free hand. 

I used Fimo clay for this project. 

What do you think???

Bottled message

This is a flask.
It's a kind of bottles used for wine.
It has a nice shape, so i thought i could use it
to make something beautiful.
I used twine to "dress" the base
and some twine on the upper part 

of the bottle's neck,
but that part is covered by the seashells :-)
So... what do you think???

 

Tropical mug

You know how much I love
painting on mugs.
This was a kind of mug
I've never painted on before.
It's a clear mug. It has no colour.
That was really fun!!!
So... what do you think???

I try not to paint all the way up
to the lip of the mug.
I want that part to remain clean
so I can use the mug later :-)

 

Roses on black mug

I love the way these roses look like
on this black mug!!!
It's just a simple ceramic mug!
I wanted to try painting on a black background.
I think it looks nice!!!

Painted Rose mugs

I love painting on mugs.
It's one of my favorite things to do.
The fact that I can use those mugs
which I painted myself,
is amazing.
These are two white mugs
on which I painted roses.
I've never painted roses in this way before.
So... what do you think???

Tropical sunset mug

I painted this mug during the last days of summer.
My mom loved it.
She uses this mug every day :-)
I guess it gives her a sense of summer.

This is the second glass,
out of the pack of six.
I really love this flower.
I didn't expect that i'll like it so much.
I've never tried painting something like this before :-)

This is a water glass.
Its shape is like a tall tube.
These glasses come in packs of six.
But they were all empty, blank, 

so colourless and boring.
So I painted them. 

This is the first of the six.

Red dressed bottle decoration

I am developing a liking in this kind of constructions :-P
So, this is a glass bottle dressed with yarn. 

The yarn has three different shades of red. 

I also made some decorations this time :-)

So... what do you think???

Dressed bottle decoration

This might not seem like art on glass or whatever... 

Yet, this is a glass bottle. It is dressed with yarn. 

I found this construction in the internet and i really liked it. 

It is a very beautiful way to decorate the house. 

Plus, it is a very good way to use my yarn leftovers :-D

"Cherry blossoms"

Spring is finally here.
I love Spring colours. They are so bright and vigorous.
So I decided to paint on a whisky glass today.
And since i live in the countryside 

and I can see the trees blossoming,
I tried to paint cherry blossoms :-)
So... what do you think???

"Frozen" wine glass - candlestick

This is a small wine glass painted with acrylic colours. 

It has perfumed sand inside, in order to stabilise the candle.
The snowflakes on it are probably the only snowflakes 

i'm going to see,
since it never snows here where i live... :-(

"Stuck in the chimney" mug

This is another Christmas mug. I made this today. 

It's painted with acrylics, since i didn't made to find paints for glass. 

Crafting is not that famous in my country :-(

The back is a little more funny (i think).

This is a Christmas mug. 

It seems that it would look better if the mug was not white. 

I'll know better next time!

Santa Claus glass

Santa Claus's pants painted on a wine glass... 

Because it's never too early to start crafting for Christmas!!!

...and that's Santa's butt... 

I think that puts me in the naughty list for this year :-P

"Pink Splash" watercolor mug

This is my first effort to make a mug. It's not exactly watercolor (my directions were saying that i had to use nail polish for this technique) but i suppose you can see why it's called like this.

So... what do you think?
