Brave life

Hello everyone! I have a new project to show you tonight, made for the @simonsaysstamp Monday and Wednesday challenges. I made an art journal page.

I got this beautiful "Magnolia Apple Blossom" stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and I really wanted to use it! So, I stamped my images on Hahnemühle Expressions watercolour paper, with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and I coloured them with Schmincke Horadam watercolours.

I build this project in my Stamperia Mixed Media journal. First I treated the page with white gesso and then I used the "Blossom" stencil from @createasmilestamps along with Ranger Texture Crackle paste. When everything was dry, I coloured the page using Ecoline liquid waterclour in colours Fir Green (654) and a little bit of Pastel Yellow (226). I dried my page and then I splattered with my liquid watercolour and with Perfect Pearls solution.

I attached my images on the page and then I used the Writing/White Stamperia Rub On Transfers, just to add a little bit of a white detail.

My sentiment comes from the Idea-Ology Metallic Sticker Book. It says "Go where your heart takes you. Hold on tight to your dreams. Be brave with your life". I always love an encouraging sentiment! And I really love Magnolias! I find this stamp set simply amazing! What do you think?

I miss you badly

Hello everyone! I am here tonight with a new card made for the current @createasmilestamps Moodboard challenge as well as for the @simonsaysstamp Monday and Wednesday challenges. This is a card inspired by @amyrysavy 's work!

I started with a panel of @faltkarten Grass cardstock. I used all the images from the CAS "Pure Poppies" stamp set, I stamped them with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed them with WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. Then I coloured them using Distress Oxide inks as watercolours. I believe I used about 15 colours of inks.

My sentiment comes from the CAS "Miss You" stamp set. It is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed with WOW! White Pearl embossing powder, which made it look like silver.

I splattered everything with white Rohrer & Klingner ink and with Perfect Pearls solution. I also treated the edges of my panel and of my note card with Vintage Photo Distress ink.

I put everything together and the card was done! This was an experiment. I was not sure if this cardstock would be able to take watercolouring on it but I was pleasantly surprised! I have to try that again!

Hi There

Hello everyone! I have a second card to show you today, also made for a @createasmilestamps Sketch Challenge.

I did not do any stamping on this card. I inkblended my background on Clairefontaine mixed media paper, with Distress Oxide inks and then I cut the stars, using the CAS "Cool Cuts Stars" dies. I also cut the edges of this panel with the "Cool Cuts Din Lang Borders" dies and then I backed it on black Clairefontaine paper. Everything is splattered with Perfect Pearl's solution and Gold Acrylic paint. I used the stars I cut out of the panel, to create the sketch shapes. I also used a golden Signo pen to brighten up the edges of all the stars. My sentiment is cut out of gold glitter cardstock, with the "Cool Cuts Hi There" die. I added some Idea-Ology Droplets and the card was done!

I really like the colours on this card. It was supposed to resemble the night sky. Did I make it?

Love Magic

Hello everyone! I have a card to show you today, made for a @createasmilestamps Sketch Challenge and for a @simonsaysstamp Wednesday Challenge.

My images for this card come from the following CAS stamp sets: "Mushrooms", "Hocus Pocus", "Potions" and "Books". They are stamped on Fabriano Bristol paper and coloured with an assortment of alcohol markers. My background is made on Clairefontaine mixed media paper. I used the CAS "Glassware" stencil with a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks. Of course, everything is splattered with Perfect Pearls solution. My sentiment comes from the CAS "Potions" stamp set and it is stamped directly on my background panel with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. I added some Idea-Ology Droplets and this card was done.

Do you think Love is magic??? I certainly do!
